We all know how important staying hydrated is.

According to the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health:

“Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.”

For me, I can feel the difference in my body when I do not drink enough water each day.  I admit, I used to get bored with water but did not wanted to buy sweetened or flavored water.  I drink a lot of sparkling water and add it to my fruit water on occasion as well.

Making fruit water for me adds dimension and flavor to the water of course, but it is also pretty.  I personally believe we like pretty things and for someone with limited creative prowess such as myself, it is fun to play here as well.

Sometimes I go through these pitchers so fast that I started making two at a time.  I have also found this is a good way to use the fruit in your fridge that may be on the edge so to speak.

Drink up – so good for you and once you get in the habit, you will miss it if you don’t.
