Prep done early today. It was so rainy and chilly and icky today I went for comfort food and made a big pot of simply yummy soup. Never made soup before. Found a recipe onΒ @spendpennies and added a few more veggies and spice. Hearty, healthy and delicious. πŸ€—

The recipe called for beef broth (low sodium) which i never use, but it had a great flavor. A can of diced tomatoes (I used crushed) and a bit of paste and off we go. I also added a little water and decided to include whole grain noodles as well Onions, garlic, rainbow carrots, broccoli, red and yellow peppers, zucchini, cabbage and celery along with red pepper flakes along with fresh basil and some dried oregano made this a fabulous, warm and delicious soup. 😊 Now I am set for the week. πŸ’ͺπŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸŽ‰

Of course I made a fresh batch of water with lemon, lime, cucumber and fresh cranberries…makes me think fall – and a few sprigs of basil.😊

Finally, I made a new batch of my “immunity” concoction. Learned to strain it, press the pulp then run it again. Much better. πŸ‘
