Went a little crazy in the kitchen with prep today. Been craving something sweet but didn’t want to go too far off the rails. You know my rules; it all must be super simple and yummy…simply yum. These recipes fit the bill and then some. 😋
Main dish, courtesy of a recipe from @loveandlemons is Broccoli Tahini Pasta Salad. Packed with veggies – broccoli, green beans, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, pine nuts and the sun dried tomatoes give it such a pop of flavor. The tahini dressing is terrific. I have a week of lunches now in my frig. 😁
Sweet stuff, both courtesy of recipes on @delish …oh my goodness…Chocolate Avocado Pudding. 😋😋 Beyond good…not too sweet, light and airy…almost like a moose. Will definitely make this again. 👍 Avocados, unsweetened cocoa powder, dark chocolate, almond milk, vanilla and a bit of maple syrup.
Sweet and Salty Chocolate Bark. I need to perfect the layering but pretty fun and quite yummy. ☺ Small bites and plenty to share. 👍
And the water. Got to have the water. All citrus this time…lemon, lime and orange with a bit of basil added. Quite good. 🥛
